Websites for salons, barbers and spas
Salon clients book in seconds, often late at night on a phone. Your website has to show the work, the prices and the next free slot, and send people to book without paying a commission on clients who already know you.

→The short answer
Good website design for beauty salons shows real work, lists every treatment with its price and time, and puts online booking a tap away from every page, using the booking system you already have. We build websites for salons, barbers and spas from £99 a month, and you see yours before you pay.
(01)Online booking
From each platform's own pricing pages.
Fresha, Booksy and Treatwell compared
| Monthly | A new client found through the platform's marketplace | Repeat clients, and bookings from your own website | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fresha | A subscription, priced per team member1 | A one-off 20% of their first appointment1 | No fee1 |
| Booksy | From £40 + VAT, plus £5 + VAT for each extra team member2 | No commission, unless you opt into its Boost feature: 30% of their first visit2 | No commission2 |
| Treatwell | A monthly subscription3 | 35% + VAT of their first booking3 | No commission; a 2.5% + VAT fee if clients pay online in advance3 |
Prices and terms on the day we checked; each platform can change them. Card payment fees are extra on all three.
The pattern is the same on all three: the marketplace charges for the new clients it finds you, and your own website's "Book now" button doesn't. So the more of your regulars book through your own site, the less you pay. We put that button on every page and link it to the system you already use.
(02)Before and after
Your best sales tool, handled carefully.
Before-and-after galleries, with consent
Written consent, every time
A client's photo is their personal data. Ask before you take it, say where it'll appear, and keep their agreement on file. Let them withdraw it later.
No filters on the result
The Advertising Standards Authority has ruled ads misleading where filters exaggerated what a beauty product achieves, and says filters shouldn't be applied to images directly relevant to the product being advertised4.
Same light, same angle
Before and after taken in the same spot, in the same light, straight after the treatment. A fair comparison is more convincing than a flattering one.
Faces only when they've said yes
Many great results can be shown without a face: hands, brows, a fade, the back of a cut.
(03)Price lists
Price lists clients can actually use
- Every treatment with its price and how long it takes, as text on the page, not a photo of a printed menu.
- "From" prices explained: what makes a cut or colour cost more.
- Patch tests and consultations: when they're needed and how to book them.
- Your deposit and cancellation policy, in plain words, before anyone books.
- Gift vouchers, with how long they last.
(04)Logos
Eight concepts each, and the rules for your kind of business.
(05)A concept site
For a fictional salon.
What a salon's homepage can look like
(07)What it costs
No build fee.

Usually, yes. Your own site is where clients see your work and prices on your terms, and bookings through your own "Book now" button don't carry the marketplace's new-client fee.
Yes. We show the areas you cover rather than a home address, and make booking and travel arrangements clear.
