Cleaning company logo design
A cleaner's logo goes into people's homes and offices: on the tabard, the caddy, the key tag and the car parked outside. It has to say "you can trust us" before anyone speaks.

→The short answer
A good cleaning company logo looks trustworthy and tidy, prints clearly on a tabard and a car magnet, and stands apart from the blue sparkles every other cleaner uses. Domestic and commercial cleaners need different feels. Ours start at £199, and you see the logo on your uniform and car before you pay.

For fictional cleaning businesses, from a sole trader to a commercial firm.
Cleaning company and cleaner logo ideas

Concept Spotless HomesDomestic cleaning
A sparkle over a friendly rounded name: clean without being clinical, and clear on a tabard.

Concept Clearview WindowsWindow cleaning
A squeegee beside the name, for a trade whose van and ladders are its biggest advert.

Concept CrestlineCommercial cleaning
A crisp monogram in navy and red that looks at home on a tender document and a facilities manager's contractor list.

Concept Bubble & ShineEnd of tenancy cleaning
Bubbles in a purple disc: a cheerful colour that stands out on a letting agent's list of approved cleaners.

Concept PowerJet Pressure WashingPressure washing
The first word huge, the rest underneath: as loud as the machine, and readable on a trailer from across a car park.

Concept Deepweave Carpet CareCarpet and upholstery cleaning
A round badge with initials, like a quality seal, for a specialist that charges for expertise.

Concept Greenleaf Eco CleanEco-friendly cleaning
A leaf in a shield, in green that means something here: products that are kinder to homes and pets.

Concept Tidy DaysWeekly home cleaning
A warm wordmark with a coral full stop, for a sole trader whose clients know them by first name.
(02)Where it lives
Mostly on people and kit, inside other people's buildings.
Where a cleaning logo has to work
Tabards and polo shirts
Printed or embroidered, often on a coloured garment, and the first thing a client sees at the door. A one-colour version for fabric is essential.
Car magnets and van livery
Many cleaners drive cars, not vans, so a pair of door magnets is the livery. They need the logo and the phone number large, and nothing else.
The caddy and kit bag
Carried through reception and up the stairs. A sticker or print here is seen by everyone in the building.
Key tags
Clients hand over their keys. A tag with your logo and number, and never their address, looks professional and keeps the keys safe if they're lost.
Door hangers and leaflets
Still one of the best ways to win the house next door. The logo goes at the top with one clear reason to call.
(03)Trust signals
Shown beside the logo, never baked into it.
Insurance, DBS checks and badges
Clients choosing a cleaner want proof they can trust you in their home or office. The strongest signals are true, specific and current: your public liability insurance, the checks your team has had, and any membership you hold. They belong beside your logo and on your website, not inside the logo itself, because they change and the logo shouldn't have to.
Take care with "DBS checked". A DBS check has no official expiry date and is accurate only on the day it was carried out1, so say when your team was checked rather than printing a badge that suggests a permanent status. And only show a trade body's logo if you're a member: displaying a trust mark without authorisation is banned under UK consumer law2.
(04)Domestic or commercial
Homes and offices want different things
| Domestic cleaning | Commercial cleaning | |
|---|---|---|
| Who decides | A homeowner, often recommended by a neighbour | An office or facilities manager, often comparing quotes |
| What they want to feel | Friendly, reliable, someone they'd let in | Organised, insured, able to cover a whole building |
| What usually works | Rounded type, warm colours, a simple symbol | Crisp type, a monogram, navy or charcoal with one accent |
| Where it's judged | On the doorstep and on a neighbour's recommendation | On a tender document, a contractor list and a site visit |

Questions
(07)Questions
One that looks tidy and trustworthy, reads on a tabard and a car door, and doesn't look like every other cleaner's. A clear name, one simple symbol at most, and a colour your competitors aren't using will do more than sparkles and bubbles together.
Keep them out of the logo and put them beside it, on your website and your leaflets, where you can keep them accurate. A check or a policy can change; your logo shouldn't need redrawing when it does.
They need logos that suit their own customers: a window cleaner's lives on a van and ladders and has to read at a distance, while a carpet cleaner selling a specialist service often benefits from a more premium look. We design for the work you want more of.
